| Commentary: | Although no image has been found of this advertisement, it is clear that it was completed and probably printed. Mr. Southwick of Street and Finney indicates in a letter to Schoonover, that the subject was an “automobilist.” In a later letter, he points out various potential problems with printing the image, including a need for more contrast to guard against “poor ink and fast printing.” (archives) | |
