Norman Rockwell Museum is Open 7 days a week year-round

May – October and holidays:

open daily: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Thursdays: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. (July/August 2015)
Rockwell’s Studio open May through October.

November – April: open daily:

Weekdays: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Weekends and holidays: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Holiday Closings:

The Museum is Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day

Commentary: This painting is the left side, cut from a larger work entitled “Pepacton”. It is thought that “Pepacton”, was either the original oil sketch or a copy of the over commissioned work called “Uncle Ferris Terry’s Farm,” #2245. The other half of “Pepacton” is #2245b.
Provenance: Sold by the artist to Frank W. Diver, Wilmington, Delaware
[1940]; inherited by Alan R. and Edith Diver Lenox, Wilmington, Delaware; descended in the family to Collection of Mr. and Mrs. James K. Higgins, Wilmington, Delaware [1995]
