Commentary: This landscape was begun as #2411 in March, 1947, and finished in 1949 at which time it was re-numbered as #2435. The painting was created for Immanuel Church, Highlands, Wilmington, Delaware, where Schoonover was a communicant and on the vestry for over 40 years. (day books)
