Commentary: Different from most Schoonover landscapes of the Delaware River, this work shows depth in the foreground with near shoreline extending the full length of the canvas, putting the viewer back from and slightly above the river’s edge. To the left is the rock formation known as ‘Indian Rock.’ (archives)
This work is painted over #1348 (day books). For further commentary, see #2430.
