Commentary: This painting is significant because it reflects Schoonover’s change to a lighter palette. The brush strokes and diffused light source show the beginnings of a change from romantic realism towards his later impressionistic style.

Weekdays: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Weekends and holidays: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Holiday Closings:
