Commentary: This design showing the Immanuel Church Highlands building, in Wilmington, Delaware, was used on a white 10″ dinner plate made by the Edwards China and Glassware Co. in Rock Hall, Maryland c. 1952. The plate pattern was Eggshell Theme by Homer Laughlin. Schoonover was an Immanuel communicant for over 50 years and served on the Vestry for 40 years. (archives)
The original pen and ink has been lost, but the plates are still in circulation.
